My perspective on leadership started at the workbench of my father’s metal fabrication shop. I watched my father build a business from nothing, using skill and determination to provide for our family and put my siblings and me through college. He taught me that a community is built on the backs of small businesses and the dreams of those who work hard every day. I carry that "blue collar" work ethic into everything I do.

As a Certified Healthcare CPD Professional (CHCP), I now work at one of the top public universities in the nation as a Continuing Education Manager. I have had the absolute honor of representing my organization at national conferences, such as the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME®) Learn to Thrive and the David Geffen School of Medicine (DGSOM) Medical Education Day. I am a proud graduate of the 2025 UCLA Health Leadership Development Program.

For me, this race is about ALL generations and honoring the ones who came before us. As a mother of two young children, I am not just looking at the next election; I am looking at the next twenty years.

I understand the challenges young families face today, but I also know the struggle of our long-term residents who fear being priced out of the neighborhoods they helped build.

Our city’s history is held by the families who have lived here for generations. I am committed to keeping South El Monte affordable, ensuring that our seniors can retire in dignity and our young adults can afford to buy their first homes in the same zip code where they grew up.

My commitment to our youth and our legacy is evident in my service as the Vice President of El Monte/South El Monte Jets. I’ve worked on the front lines to provide our children with mentorship, structure, discipline, and a sense of pride. I know how to manage a team, balance a budget, and advocate for our community’s most precious resource: OUR PEOPLE. 

If elected, I will be the first graduate of South El Monte High School to serve on the City Council. It is time that our local government is led by someone who has walked our school hallways, coached on our fields, and understands the lived reality of our residents.
